The information is also provided pursuant to Recommendation no. 2/2001 adopted by the Working Group established by art. 29 of Directive 95/46/EC. to those who interact with the web services of this site, in order to protect personal data, accessible electronically from the address.

On every occasion of contact or interaction with the guest and in all other aspects of our work, we may collect personal information. This personal information may include: your contact information; personal characteristic information, nationality, passport or identity document number and date and place of issue; travel history; payment information, such as payment card number and other card information, as well as authentication information and other billing and account details related to electronic invoicing; preferences, subject to written consent, of the guest; preferences, subject to written consent, regarding marketing and communication; as well as related to your booking

– Collection at the property:

we collect additional personal information during registration/check-in at our hotel, including information required by local laws.

– Event profiles:

if you plan to organize an event with us, we will record the specifics of the event or meeting, the date, the number of guests, restaurant reservations, guest room details and, for corporate events, information about your organization (name, annual budget, number of sponsored events each year). We also collect information about guests who are part of your group or event. If you visit us within a group, we may request your personal information from the group and we may send you commercial information subject to your express consent following your stay with a group or participation in an event. If you visit us as part of an event, we may share your personal information with the event organizers. If you are an event planner, we may also share information about your event with third-party service providers who may send you commercial information about event services.

2) Information we collect from third parties

We may also collect information about you from third parties, including information from our partners (travel agencies, airlines, payment cards, other sites such as booking.com or similar) and other partners; from social media services consistent with your settings on those services; and from third-party sources. We may add such information to information we already have on file and share it with others as set forth in this Policy.

3) Purposes of processing

The processing of data is finalized for the following purposes:

  • the management of relations with customers (management of reservations, issuance of invoices, estimates), to execute any contractual obligations, to the management of litigation and as well as to fulfill regulatory obligations, in particular accounting and tax obligations;
  • in a variety of ways, for example to provide and personalize the services you request and expect from our facility, in the case of booking your hotel stay or restaurant reservation or for other services, to offer you the expected level of hospitality and as described below in more detail:

3a) Related to the service:

  • to send (with your prior written consent) promotional offers on our services and updates on the rates and offers made as well as greetings by ordinary mail or by fax or e-mail;
  • to execute (subject to your written consent) hotel services such as external communication of data relating to your stay for the exclusive purpose of allowing the function of receiving objects, messages and phone calls addressed to you;
  • process, subject to written consent, the so-called sensitive data voluntarily transmitted by you in order to offer a better level of hospitality at our hotel;

3b) electronic receipt program

we may automatically enroll you in our electronic receipt program and use your email address to send you your hotel bill by email. It is your responsibility to ensure that the email address we have is the correct (and preferred) one. If you make a reservation for another person using your email address, the electronic receipt for that person will be sent to your email address.

We can use your e-mail address to send you, subject to written consent, our newsletters, our holiday greetings.

3/1 Further purposes

The computer systems and software procedures used to operate this website acquire, during their normal operation, some personal data whose transmission is implicit in the use of internet communication protocols. This information is not collected to be associated with identified interested parties, but by their very nature could, through processing and association with data held by third parties, allow users to be identified. This category of data includes IP addresses or domain names of the computers used by users who connect to the site, the addresses in URI (Uniform resource Identifier) notation of the requested resources, the time of the request, the method used to submit the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in response, the numerical code indicating the status of the response given by the server (successful,  error….) and other parameters relating to the operating system and the user’s computer environment.

These data are used for the sole purpose of obtaining anonymous statistical information on the use of the site and to check its correct functioning and are deleted immediately after processing.

The data could also be used to ascertain responsibility in case of hypothetical computer crimes against the site.

5) PLACE OF TREATMENT

The data will be processed by the data controller at its registered office and operational headquarters.

6) NATURE OF THE PROVISION OF DATA

For the purposes referred to in point 3) in case of booking for a hotel stay, the provision of data is mandatory and failure to provide them may make it impossible to obtain what has been requested.

For the purposes referred to in points 3a) and 3b) the provision of data is optional and does not prevent the provision of the requested service (hotel stay)

7) REFUSAL TO PROVIDE DATA

The interested party may refuse to provide the Data Controller with his navigation data. To do this, you must disable cookies by following the instructions provided by your browser. Disabling cookies may worsen the navigation of the site’s features.

8) RECIPIENTS OF THE DATA

No data deriving from the web service (navigation data specified above and cookies) is communicated or disseminated (except for communication to judicial or police bodies if necessary).

10) WITHDRAWAL OF CONSENT

With reference to Article 23 of Legislative Decree 196/2003 and art. 6 of the GDPR 679/16, the interested party can revoke the consent at any time.

11) RIGHTS OF THE INTERESTED PARTIES.

With reference to Article 7 of Legislative Decree 196/2003 and art. 15 “right of access”, art. 16 “right of rectification”, art. 17 “right to erasure”, art. 18 “right to restriction of processing”, art. 20 “right to portability”, art.21 “right to object to the automated decision-making process of the GDPR 679/2016, the interested party exercises his rights by writing to the Data Controller.
